Cian Walker's Strand Unit project presents 'In consequence of the uncertainty', a collection of music recorded over the last two years. Composed utilising an array of synths, acoustic instruments, field recordings and samples, working on the tracks became a contemplative escape through trying times, battling with the muddled and sometimes paradoxical nature of being. The album contains veiled diaristic elements through the use of field recordings, abstracted, yet of great personal significance. The music echoes with the dissonance of control structures that confine and perplex the human psyche, offering an immersive experience that attempts to find some acceptance within the essence of inner turmoil and confusion.
